. THIS CUSTOM LID DOES THE TRICK. THIS IS A MODERN CLEAR TOP CAP FOR THE MODERN MACHINES, IT IS BRAND NEW AND 1 QUICK PUSH SLIDES IT RIGHT IN TO THE ACTION DOME ON YOUR 3600,3600 PLUS OR 4000 SERIES MACHINE. IT POPS IN AND OUT FOR WASHING AND CAN BE PUT IN THE DISHWASHER. IT ALSO CAN BE LEFT ON THE ACTION DOME AND RINSED/CLEANED FROM YOUR WATER TAP AND SET OUT TO DRY WITHOUT TAKING IT OFF THE DOME.

Please note;
This clear cap must fit tight otherwise it will pop out during high speed blending.
The following is the install instructions, these instructions will be included with your new cap. once you do it the first time it will take you 1 second to install every time
To
install; take off your action dome from your container and put on solid
counter. Push new cap into action dome top, some domes are tighter than others
and you may have to twist and push. The 2 tabs on the side of the cap hold the
top on while blending.  To remove turn
and pull at the same time. You can slide this new cap on/off for cleaning or
leave on and rinse out from bottom while cleaning. Vitamix had 3 different manufactures back in the 70 and 80’s build the action domes, not all of them are exactly the same. A small percentage of them had the cylinder dome fractions smaller, thus this clear cap may be too tight. To fix that you simply lightly sand the two side tabs to make the adjustment. We have included a sanding file with your order.
