  • Condition: *MOVIE POSTER USA 1952* "DICK TRACY VS. PHANTOM EMPIRE" This is an original 3-sheet lobby poster made for the 1952 Republic Pictures movie release of "Dick Tracy Vs. Phantom Empire", based on the comic strip by Chester Gould. Huge 3-sheet poster measures 79" x 41" and comes in 2 sections to be assembled at the theater, with a 27" x 41" top panel and a 53" x 41" lower panel (allowing a 1" overlap for alignment). Poster bears NSS # R52/9806-43731, and like all vintage bills it was originally folded in eighths for shipping to theaters. This 69 year-old lobby display is fragile but appears unused, with bright colors and sharp graphics to promote the adventures of popular comic-strip detective Dick Tracy.
